Description
The Debonair is located in the Woodley Park neighborhood area of Washington D.C., 200 ft (60m) from the Woodley Park Metro station. The building was designed to provide non-profits, professional associations, and educational institutions with residential accommodations to house their associates, students, and interns. The Debonair features six bedrooms on each of the first three floors with three bedrooms on the fourth floor. Each bedroom can accommodate two individuals. The fourth floor includes a one bedroom apartment suitable for a residential supervisor.
Each floor is self-contained with custom bathrooms, a double sink kitchen, study/lounge, and laundry facilities. A passenger keylock elevator services each floor. The building has a 24/7 security system with its own dedicated entrance from 26th Street. Limited parking is available on the ground floor.
Woodley Park is listed among the safest neighborhoods in Washington D.C., and one of the best places to live in the District of Columbia. Living in Woodley Park offers residents an urban feel and most residents rent their homes. In Woodley Park there are numerous restaurants, coffee shops, retail shops and service businesses. The Smithsonian's National Zoo, located in the Woodley Park is a fantastic place to visit and a five minute stroll from the Debonair. Union Station can be reached in 13 minutes from the Woodley Park Metro via the Red Line.
Educational institutions either located in Woodley Park or with a D.C campus include American University, University of the District of Columbia, Stanford University & Syracuse University. George Washington University & Georgetown University are easily accessible from Woodley Park by public transport.
