ULodging saves time and money. When you need housing for your students, ULodging provides the ability to search for accommodations in one place without having to spend hours trawling the internet, sending e-mails and possibly travelling to visit the properties before making a decision.
ULodging helps you save staff time and increases the efficiency of your work, allowing you and your staff to focus on other pressing matters, such as programming and student life.
If you send us a note to tell us what you are looking for, we can help you find a suitable property in the city of interest. Provide us with the requirement and we will undertake a search on your behalf at no cost or obligation.
It is free to join, search for and post a property. There are no hidden costs. The host will pay a fee to ULodging upon the execution of an agreement with the lodger.
The Host (landlord) registers with ULodging, uploads a description of the property, photographs, features, availability, pricing etc for the specific property.
The Lodger (student) searches, identifies the property of choice, the type of room, submits an inquiry directly to the Host, agrees terms and remits funds directly to the Host. No middlemen. Lodger does not pay a fee to ULodging.
ULodging is not an online booking site. We do not execute leases and contracts. We don’t accept any money or mark up the rent. We are a digital platform that allows for an efficient and effective means for matching institutions and students that need housing with student housing providers in a safe, secure online environment.
Yes. Anyone can search the site for properties and submit an inquiry straight to the property without any need to register with ULodging. But the lodger must be a student attending a university at the time of submitting an inquiry. Security is key.
Host must either own and/or manage the property. The property must be designed and used as student housing. Private homes, to include single family houses/apartments and recreational properties are not permitted. Prospective Hosts register at https://ulodging.com/sign-up/ All Host applications will be considered by ULodging and are subject to review and approval. Information about past experience with student housing is encouraged.
A robust conversation between Host and Lodger is encouraged at time of inquiry. Lodgers may choose to visit the location for a walk-through, engage in a video conference call or take other means to review and assess the property.
Refunds, payment schedules, will be addressed in the agreement between Host and Lodger.
Lodger should contact ULodging and state in writing the specifics of the problem. Any matter that is not related to the property or management, should be filed with the appropriate authority.
